Consultant Profile
Following is a brief synopsis of skills and experience of the lead consultant for ISM
KEY CAPABILITIES:
- Risk Management Facilitation and Training
Conduct risk management processes to identify, analyse and control risks associated within an overall business, project or work activity and effectively determine methods of managing such risks: either from a quality, safety and/or environmental perspective. Training, mentoring and/or coaching of personnel in practical use of risk management tools and techniques.
- Integrated Business Management Systems (HSEQ)
Design, implementation and continual improvement of integrated health, safety and environmental systems; quality systems or systems based on business/corporate requirements (e.g. Asset Maintenance) – both electronic and paper based.
- Work Health and Safety Management Systems (WHSMS)
Design, implementation and continual improvement of specific Health and Safety Management Systems to address client risk issues and relevant jurisdictional legislation, based on organisational nature, scale and activities performed. System concept includes statistical analysis of the organisational culture, safe and at risk behaviours (demonstrated in the workplace) with outcomes used to produce “behavioural/error tolerant” systems.
- Contractor Management (CMS)
Design and implementation of Contractor Management systems to meet all planned and responsive out sourcing requirements on behalf of principal and/or contracting firms. Process includes assessment of client needs, including specific risk issues (via Risk Assessment), tender/contractual arrangements and management of onsite activities.
- Training Management Systems (TMS) and Training Delivery
Assessment, design and implementation of a TMS, based on the nature and scale of a business, risk and training needs. Development and/or update of existing training materials, to effectively communicate specified risk treatment methods, training needs, legislative and HSEQ system requirements.
- Accredited Systems Auditing (as per ISO19011)
External/Internal Auditing to AS:NZS 4801, OHSAS18001, ISO:14001, ISO: 9001, Legislation and/or Corporate Management Standards – Exemplar Global Certified (Lead Auditor).
System effectiveness auditing, conducted both as internal and external audits, in accordance with ISO19011 and Exemplar Global requirements. Audits include: planning; system review and audit tool preparation; audit team management and coordination of audit activities; findings delivery and report compilation. Types of effectiveness audits may include: WHS Management, Contractor Management, Asset Management and Maintenance, Legal Compliance and Operations/Business Performance.
